LEAD-IN PRACTICE:

This is can be an opposed practice with the emphasis on developing the bond of technique and decision making.

The practice should contain objectives for all players that are derived from the technical theme being practiced.

Appropriate areas, the number of players involed and imposed *conditions* will vary around the theme for development.

This can also provide a practice situation in which a player or small group of players develops an understanding of their attacking and/or defending roles, responsibilities and accompanying skills.

The practice will be best sited in the area of the field where the player operates in a game and players who are primary or secondary in the development of role understanding should be involved in the practice.
